There is sex and sexiness all around
Vegas. It drips like sweat off the dance floor. But it can also be as
elusive as a Royal Flush, as hard to come by as picking a winning number
at the roulette wheel.
Many, many people travel to Las Vegas expecting it to be a slam dunk
as far as finding the right club, the perfect people to meet or the
ideal social situation, only to be left sitting puzzled at a small bar
with a large plastic glass full of some frozen concoction wondering
what exactly to do next because, well, they are in Vegas!
There's
so many lights and sights, sounds are all around and thousands of people
are moving about like ants at a picnic, so it's difficult to discern
what to do and where to do it. Action and sex seems to be everywhere,
but it's a flash here, a flash there, gone as quickly as dollars in
a slot machine. This happens to men AND women, as both sexes are left
to ponder how they can find the party and have experiences like those
people in the commercials and TV shows.

guides can solve part of the problem. But to turn those chance
encounters into an evening of frolicking fun, we called in a "Sex
Vegas" expert, whom we call Mr. LayVegas. His identity will remain
a secret, but to set the stage for this article here's a little about
him:
He's a well-seasoned mid-30s male, somewhat athletic, has a strong
sense of humor, is friendly, not at all arrogant and while some women
definitely find him attractive he's certainly in no danger of being
dragged out of a casino if Brad Pitt or George Clooney were to
arrive on the scene.
This article is for the average person, not the rock star or well-bankrolled
high roller, who make up a small percentage of daily visitors
anyway. Instead, it's practical tips for practical people. While written
by a man, the same philosophy can be adopted by women. Consider this
the equivalent of that gaming instructional channel in the hotel room.
Of course, anyone can take the shortcut and get one of those Las Vegas Escorts. But this article is for those who prefer the satisfaction of the thrill of the chase.
So, now with the stage all set, here are Mr. LayVegas' tales about
scoring tail:
"I love Las Vegas.
"I've been there dozens of times and I've been lucky enough to
be laid there a lot. My ratio is about 50%. Of varying degrees of quality.
Some have been great, some not. The bottom line is, girls are in Vegas
to have fun and some want to get laid. And I want to get laid, too!
"My strategy is simple – I stay away from the big clubs and
I meet most of the people gambling or at the casino bars. I am not a
great talker. What I am is an opportunist. I recognize an opportunity
and get in there and go for it.
 "The
clubs are tough. They have long lines, big cover charges and it can
be hard to meet people. If you go, you've got to pick one club and pretty
much stick with it all night. I have much better success at the lounges
and bars in the casinos. I've met a lot of people at the Blackjack tables.
Girls like to play Blackjack and it's easy to start a convesation with
the person sitting next to you.
As far as the bars and lounges, Red Square in Mandalay Bay is
good and so is the main casino bar (Island Lounge). The Circle
Bar at the Hard Rock can be good, too. I also like the piano bar
at New York, New York (The Bar at Times Square); there are tables
and a standing area and I always take the standing area.
"One problem with Vegas is the hookers. They are all over the
place at the casino bars and they are mixed in with the real girls who
are looking to get laid. It's hard to know which ones are the hookers
and which ones are just there to have fun. What I always do is ask the
girls where they are from, where they live. If they say 'Vegas,' then
chances are they are hookers. If they are from, say, Chicago, then I
look to start a conversation.
"And you won't get laid at 10 o'clock at night. You get laid at
2 in the morning. People are there to enjoy themselves and experience
as much of Vegas as possible. So trying to hit on them early will not
work.
"What I do at 10 is plant the seed. I talk to girls, then ask where
they are going to be later. Or I tell them where I'll be later. 'Let's
meet there,' I'll say. Sometimes they might be there and sometimes they
might not, but it's happened before and like I said, at this time of
the night it's just planting seeds. If a girl does say she will meet
me somewhere later, I always go back and check. You just never know."
There's fun to be found in town – along with a lot more for Mr.

THE DOLLAR BILL
THEORY
One of LayVegas' key elements is attitude.
As well as a certain willingness to adjust his latitude on his ideal
physical attributes of a girl (and not only in Vegas, but at street
parties, festivals, concerts, etc.). He calls this the "dollar
bill theory." We'll let him explain:
"Let's say you are walking down the street. You see a dollar bill
on the ground. Well, you're going to pick it up, right? It's the same
with a girl. If you see someone who is okay looking but certainly not
a 10, are you going talk to her? I sure will, because I know I could
be getting laid!
"Now, sometimes you might find a five, 10 or even 20 'dollar bill'
and you're sure going to reach down for that one. But there's a lot
more dollar bills laying around than those fives and 10s, so if you
want to get laid you've got to be willing to pick up the dollar bills.
"What I won't pick up are quarters, dimes, nickels or pennies.
But I'm always looking to pick up those dollar bills."
So, getting laid in Vegas is not really
a longshot, like winning that giant car at the big spin wheel. But you
do have to be willing to roll the dice.
