First Friday Honolulu Review
Huge Block Party Is In Chinatown 5-9

The PubClubettes lead the party at First Friday in Honolulu's Chinatown.
There's a party in Honolulu. And it's not on Waikiki Beach.
There are no long-riding waves, booze cruises and few – if any – tourists.
But there ARE thousands of people, beer stations and, on occasion, the PubClub.com PubClubettes!
It's First Friday, a huge block party on the streets of downtown Honolulu. It happens the first Friday of every month and it's one of the city's most enduring social events.
First Friday takes place in the Chinatown area from 5-9 p.m.

Locals pack the block party each week for First Friday.
Area businsses, including bars, restaurants and art galleries welcome the event with open doors. They feature exhibits and free entertainment highlighting Hawaii artists, art, culture, events and activities.
After the event, many of the single people head to a couple of bars in the area: Bar 35 for beer drinkers (35 N Hotel Street) and Indigo (1121 Nu'uanu Avenue ).
Ah hui hou! That's Hawaiian for "until we meet again."
