Boats Off The Beach Provide a Party Unique Blast
The PubClub.com party crew really enjoys the booze cruise off Waikiki Beach.
One of the great things about being in Hawaii is the easy access to water and the many activities it provides.
One of our favorites is the booze cruise, a one-hour trip aboard a large catamaran that provides cheap thrills and even cheaper alcohol. Talk about boat drinks – get the right group and this can turn out to be THE Honolulu highlight.
The convenience is overwhelming – boats pull right up to Waikiki Beach and depart every hour or so until dusk.

Climbing aboard is as easy as, well, climbing aboard. To find a good party group to go with, sit at Duke's with a drink and see who gets on the boat. If some people appear to be particularly rowdy, go join them.
While several boats offer "booze cruises," the best is the Na Hoko II. That's the yellow boat in front of Duke's. This is the wild boat, the one with the party people, the one with groups looking to have a wild time on the water.
And here's a PubClub.com tip for maximizing that party experience: Go to Duke's and have a few drinks. Pay cash; don't do a tab. Keep an eye on the boat and when you see a fun group boarding it, finish the drinks, run down to the beach and get on the boat.
It costs $30 but you get a $5 discount when you go on it again. Some drinks are included – the included "mai tais" are too sweet and not recommended but what the heck with the cheap champagne – or buy a rum drink for or beer for $3); just have them put more rum in those drinks.
The second-best party time is the white boat in front of the Shorebird, which is the bar at the Reef hotel (from Dukes, turn right and walk about 15 minutes). It much more tame, but it's still fun. It's best sail is at sunset.
