Be A Fat Cat With This Device
Smart Phone Charger Extends Battery Life
It's worry free battery life at events with the Fat Cat smart phone charger.
The coolest aspect about smart phones is that you can do so many things with them, such as check e-mail, read PubClub.com and even watch football games when you're stuck at a wedding ceremony.
But those features are also one of the problems with smart phones, because all those functions eat up the battery the way the bride and groom do the wedding cake,
However, a product has come across PubClub.com for review that takes all the worry away from an expiring battery. You can talk, text and Internet surf all you want and still have plenty of juice all day and all night.
It's called the Fat Cat Power Bar and it's a 4200mAh travel charger.
The Fat Cat charger is great for those full days spent at the beach.
Being at a concert provides an extra charge to the experience.
Here's all you need to know about the Fat Cat Power Bar: PubClub took it to a few events to test, and now relies on it.
It's been to a concert on a beach, a car race and on PubClub's regular bar patrol. No longer is there the need to search for an outlet at an event or, for being at an event with no plug such as a football game, having to shut off the phone during the day in order to save the battery.
Not having to worry about it is as relaxing as being at the beach. As calming as a cold beer after a hectic work day. As soothing as a hot tub after a rigourous workout.
It would also be ideal for off-site business meetings, trade shows and travel. Or just entertainment on a flight.
The Fat Cat Power Bar's weakness, if you can call it that, is that it is a separate device that must be carried along with the smart phone. It's about the size of a smart phone so it's like having two phones with you.
So if you're shot on pockets, like at the lake or river on a boat or on the beach, you may not be able to take it with you. It attaches to the phone with a cord that's about a foot long, so that must be taken into space consideration, as well. But if you've got a DD, simply keep it in the car and charge it on the way back from the event.
The Fat Cat itself comes charged, so you can get it and go immediately. It charges through a USB plug on your computer. It comes with a number of attachments to hook it up to smart phones and other devices such as IPods, and you interchange them between charging and taking it with you.
The Power Bar 4200 costs $70. There is also a Power Bar 9600 for $120. The 4200 certainly is more than adequate for all day, and probably lasts for two days. But if you're out of reach of an outlet for several days, go for the 9600.
Now that the new iPhone is out and selling fast, despite the different prongs from all previous models, the Fat Cat charger comes with a new adapter. Those who have previously purchased Fat Cat can order the new adapter from the Fat Cat website.
It comes in five colors: Black, red, silver, blue and orange.
