St. Patrick's
Day Celebration Party
Erin Go Crazy!
St. Patrick's Day is one
of the best party times of the year. There are plenty of beers, parades,
beer, fun crowds and parties. The best of these are in Boston,
Chicago and Savannah, Ga, Las Vegas and, surprisingly, Honolulu, where 300,000 people pack the
streets for a mid-day parade, then head to River Street for a wild celebration.

Green good times for St. Patrick's Day.
The first bar opens at 6 a.m., they dye the river and
fountains green and the traditional t-shirt "event" takes
place around 3 on River Street. However, unlike when PubClub resided
in Savannah, there is now a cover charge to get onto River Street and
covers at the pubs (most of the bars are pretty small). It's fun but
bring cash, to the tune of $50 in addition to what you'll spend on your
green suds.

Lately PubClub has been hangin' closer to our California
World Headquarters. And that means the parade in Hermosa
Beach, CA , then down to the bars on Pier Ave., for a celebration
that lasts into the night. The PubClubettes were part of the festivities
in '07.

St.
Patrick's Day in New Orleans

Of course there's a parade in New Orleans!
Naturally, beads are part of the festivities. .The parade starts at
Felicity and Magazine Street. There's also a block party, often on the
15h.
The parade is put on by the Irish Channel St. Patrick's Day Club, which
was organized in the Channel in 1947 and has remained in the area with
its annual mass and parade for 60 years. Of course, all are welcome.
