With a cozy crowd and cool crowd, Corazon is Old Towns' "go to" bar.

Every good party town needs its "go-to" bar, a place where people can casually gather to have a few drinks in a comfortable, receptive setting at any time of the day or night.

A place where you feel at home, that you treat almost as if it's a friend's house. Stop by anytime for a drink and conversation.

First of all, it's in Old Town Zurich, and that's cool. Secondly, this is like a little gathering place, especially afternoons around the time Americans start to think, "hey, where's a good Happy Hour."

There's no Happy Hour here, unless you're referring to the mood of the patrons.

Corazon is as cozy as a warm coat in the dead of winter, as inviting as a significant other being given a bouquet of roses on Valentine's Day In fact, corazon means "heart" in Spanish.

The place is up from the river, sitting somewhat inconspicuously on a cobblestone street corner. With large glass windows, it's like turning a corner and running into one of those great little neighborhood restaurants in San Francisco.

And like those great little San Francisco neighborhood restaurants, it's a great find. There's a few people seated in tables by the window, a friendly bartender pouring beer and cocktails at the bar, and chairs and couches in the back that's ideal for reading or quiet conversations.

You can go there anytime and feel right at home, even if it's your first time in the place. (PubClub.com did, in fact.) It is is the perfect spot to begin your Zurich nightlife experience, or to have a couple – or a few – drinks at the end of the afternoon.

Because it's located near the university, it gets in students who want to hang out on the couch with a drink and have light conversations.

LOCATION: Take – that's one street over from the River Limmet, toward the university (away from the river) to an open pedestrian intersection. Head up the widest of the streets, and Corazon will be on your left in a couple of blocks next to a small, quiet square.
