It was a beach
party, San Diego style.
The fourth stop on the Associaton of Volleyball Professionals Tour
went to Mission Beach the weekend of June 13-15.
PubClub.com's two players Adam Jewell and – Collin
"Smooth" Smith – smoked the sand as well
as several opponents. Jewell, coming off a third-place performance in
Hermosa Beach the week before with partner Jake Gibb, finished seventh
in San Diego. Smith and partner Scott Davenport were 17th. This was
in a qualifying field of 89.
