Chicago's Nightlife and The
Neighborhoods

The lively locals
make a night out in Chicago a memorable experience.
Maybe it's a release from the weather,
the good-hearted Midwestern values or the annual suffering courtesy
of the Cubs. Perhaps it's a combination of all these factors.
Whatever the reasons, Chicagoans love their pubs. Fun-loving pubclubbing
is a way of life here, and the people's winning attitude in this area
makes this one of the most fun cities in North America. Some bars that
stay open until 5 a.m., and while this makes some visitors quiver, it
only inspires the locals.
Because of the dense concentration of pubs in each area, its quite
common to encounter a group of people bar-hopping from place to place
as part of a pub crawl.
The message is clear: If one is to party in Chicago, it must do it
with the vigor of the locals.
Most visitors make a beeline to the "Rush and Division" part
of town, and while this area does have several good choices, there are
other neighborhoods to explore:
Gold
Coast/Division. Chicago's most renowned nightlife center.
Lincoln
Park/Wrigleyville. Hangout of the young and lively, due in
no small part to the location of Wrigley Field.
The
Loop. The central business area, making it convenient for
those in town for conventions or business meetings.
The
Suburbs. The South Side, Naperville, Downers Grove and more
are a beacon for those seeking the fun of Chicago with a localized flair.
