This past week has been absolutely amazing!
I had the best time ever!
First off, I am getting really close with some of the people on the
trip and we are all having a blast! When we are not hitting the town
we all get together in the flats and hang out. It is so much fun! So,
once again here is the synopsis of my fantastic times in Europe!

Back in The Black
Widow; this is becoming a (fun) habit.
TUESDAY
Another night at the Black Widow...this was fun times for sure.
We planned to go a rock club and it turned out to be heavy metal...yikes!!!
But it is always so much fun to hang out with my peeps. Before we went
out we had Jenny over and all started to drink. By the time that we
got to the bar we didn't need anymore. It was funny because I was talking
to my RA, Ivar, and apparently I said something that he did not understand.
He asked me to repeat myself and I told him to just "chill out and go
with the flow." Now it is this big inside joke that they won't let me
live down but whatever.
WEDNESDAY-LET IT SNOW!!!
On Wednesday afternoon it started to snow! We got so excited and played
in it and took pictures and everything. I have never been any place
while it was snowing. Fun times!!
THE LION KING

The Lion King is
an awesome play!
When the Lion King was in
L.A. I never went and saw it, but we got discount tickets
and were able to go...let me tell you, it was awesome! If you ever get
the chance to see it, do it! It was so much fun.
THE LONGEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE
After the play we all chilled and hung out until 3:30am when I had
to leave to catch our plane to Edinburgh, Scotland. Let me tell you
something about London Transportation...the tubes don't run from midnight
to 5am but there are night buses that you can take. The only problem
is that they take forever. So we walked to the bus stop and took a night
bus to the airport. Then we took the hour flight to Scotland, another
bus into the city, and finally got to our hostel at 9am. When we did
we crashed until 4pm we literally slept all day and then
took showers. As we were just starting to get dressed...the fire alarm
went off. Joy! We threw on clothes and headed out into the freezing
cold with wet hair! The fire trucks came and of course, there was no
fire. But fun times anyway!
THURSDAY NIGHT-EDINBURGH

The author takes
her shot at Edinburgh and Scotland.
At night we went to get some food at TGI Friday's because it
felt like home. Crazy...we thought that we were going to be able to
stroll in there and get normal Friday's food like Spinach Aritchoke
Dip. But NO!!! The menu is so different. It made me sad! Also, their
ultimate drinks are like 8 pounds which is $16. Too much!
So then I met up with Devin and walked around the city. It is beautiful!
We went up to the castle and walked around and then started to look
for some live music. We couldn't really find anything so we started
to head toward the hostel when we ran into this drunk Scottish man.
He stopped us and said, "Excuse me, I'm Scottish!" It was weird but
we were looking for a drunk Scottish man to say, "If it's not Scottish,
it's crap." (An inside joke) It was a very interesting conversation.
During the course of it he told us that he was Jesus, played the accordian,
and had been to Mars twice. Quite entertaining!
We ended up at this pub called Whistle Inkies which had three
live bands and fun caves in which to chill. Another fun time! We met
this hot Scottish guy named Dicky who was totally funny!
FRIDAY-ROMAN PILLARS AND SCOTTISH CANNONS
A little Mexico in
a town called Perth in Scotland.
In the morning we explored Edinburgh and went to the Scotland National Gallery.
That was cool...they have tons of great art! We also ate breakfast at
this place with a great view of the castle. We walked up to this point
that overlooks the city and sat on Roman pillars, read about the meaning
of life and looked at monuments and Scottish cannons. Then we took a
train to a city about an hour north of Edinburgh called Perth.
We had met this band named Mexico at a Global Battle of the
Bands in London who was from Scotland. We called them up and they were
playing in Perth that night. So when we got to Perth they picked us
up at the train station and dropped us off at the pub were they were
playing. While we were chilling we met these two HOT Scottish guys,
Graeme and Craig and went for a few drinks with them. They bought us
whiskey (which is the #1 drink there) and Guiness. Then we went back
to the pub to see Mexico.
The people from Scotland are so nice and funny! I had the best time
ever there. We just danced, laughed and had the so much fun!!! It was
great...words can not even describe the situations. Craig even bought
me a rose!
After the show we went home with Mexico and they let us crash there.
We ended up staying up until 4:30am cracking jokes and listening to
funny music. They are the coolest guys ever!
SATURDAY-BACK TO EDINBURGH

Scotland is fun,
but what's up with places closing on weekends?
We went back to the city. Crazy thing...pretty much everything shuts
down in Scotland on the weekends. We were trying to find a place to
eat at 2pm on a Saturday...no prob right? Well it took us FOREVER to
find anything open. It was the craziest thing ever!
At night we chilled at the hostel bar. We had met a few people there
the night before and hung out with them. There was this one guy who
was 1/2 Portuguese and 1/2 Italian named Leo...he was an interesting
character. Guys out here are way possessive and too forward. He wanted
to date me and I was all...you live in Scotland and I live in London...not
going to work!

Wow; what a beautiful,
historic and cool country!
