Day 1 Of Three – Free Friday
They are off to a roaring
start at the Grand Prix!
Fridays are "Free Fridays" at the annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. In 2010, that's April 18. And while the big party day is Saturday (with the main race on Sunday),
Friday offers a great warmup to the weekend, plus a free concert at the end of the day's action. These tickets are available from area Toyota dealers. For this any other ticket information, call 889-82-SPEED for informationa and tickets.
Here's a look at the Long Beach Grand Prix on a Free Friday!
The Miss Grand Prix girls are at the track starting Friday.
Cars are on the track beginning at 7:15. At 9:35, there is a Drifting demonstration, followed by Indy Car practice, Pro/Celebrity Practice, Indy Lights Practice, Pro/Celebrity Qualifying (3:40-4:10 p.m.), an autograph session with Indy Car drivers (4-5 p.m., Indy car paddock), World Challenge Practice and ALMS Qualifying.
On-track action ends at 6:30, with the Tecate Light Fiesta Friday concert from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Friday presents plenty of fun party times for fans.
The free Friday concert runs from 6;30-7:30 p.m
