PUBCLUB SKI TRIP
Mammoth Mountain, California

Right from the slopes to grab a table at the Apres bar, The Yodler.

Mammoth, Nightlife and Bar Guide

Every year, as sure as the snow falls and the calendar pages turn, we make it a point to spend President's Day in Mammoth Mountain, CA

We're hardly in exclusive company, for all of Southern Calfornia from Santa Barbara to San Diego ski bunnies and buns converge on this beautiful mountain resort in the Sierra Nevadas. This is what makes it one of the premier social events of the year, and certainly the winter season.

What we have here is photos and brief comments of a three-day trip. There were more than 30 of us in the entire group and we skiied or snowboarded each day, met up at various times at The Yodler in the late afternoon where we drank outselves silly with other like-minded revelers, staggered to the condo jacuzzi then rolled into Whiskey Creek at night.

Friday

It went from sunshine to a whiteout. After a beautiful morning and day, a sudden storm blew in – it was impossible to even see the chair lifts! So, when this happened, we blew into the Yodler, where the alcohol promotional girls were there to greet us.

What a great day to be in Mammoth!

Near-perfect conditions greeted us early. Until...

After the whiteout – this is what it was like late in the day.

Ahh, the comforts of home (which in Mammoth means The Yodler).
