St. Patrick's Day in Paradise
Surprisingly, Honolulu Has One of the Top Irish Party Scenes

They go green in Honolulu, especially with the PubClubettes.
If any revelers are seeking paradise for St. Patrick's Day then they would be pleased to know there is a party paradise in Honolulu each March 17.
In fact, St Patrick's Day in Honolulu is one of the best places to be in the world for the celebration. It does not have the national or international attention of Dublin, New York, Boston, Chicago or even New Orleans or Savannah, Ga., all of which are recognized as top party places for the special day.

St. Patrick's Day is one time they don't hang loose in Hawaii.
But for those in Honolulu, it's one of the most anticpated party days of the year. It consists of a huge block party in China Town where the city shuts off all the streets on Nu'uanunu. There's live music and green beer flown in fresh from Ireland.
In 2008, the party participants were treated to the PubClubettes, who brought their lovely and lively persona to the event. They arrived at 7 p.m., and soon disovered that most people had arrived at 5 and were doing their best to make sure none of that green beer would need to be returned to Ireland.

The annual block party lasts until 10 p.m., and that's plenty of partying for anyone involved. The biggest part spots are in front of O'Toole's Irish Pub and Murphy's. Need we say more?

PubCubette Desiree Shank helps entertain green beer drinkers.

Happy St. Patrick's Day from the Honolulu PubClubettes!
