THE WORLD'S PARTY MADE EASY
The world has just opened up literally
for PubClubbers as Contiki Travel is now the title sponsor
of our daily Shot of the Day feature. To be called the Contiki Travel
Shot of the Day, it highlights a different photo from party places around
the world on our home page,
www.PubClub.com.
It's
a match made in party heaven because Contiki caters to single 21-35
travelers and it can take you to those places featured in the photos.
It has its own resort on Mykonos and does specialized pub crawls and
party trips to Australia, the South Pacific, Europe and North America.
It even has trips to Oktoberfest and other major party events, so you
can join up with a built-in group of singles who love to hit the pubs
and clubs.
PubClub will be featuring photos from Contiki trips as part of our
Shot of the Day rotation and will be providing special trip packages
as well. So there's another reason to bookmark our home page and check
it daily! See where Contiki can take you on the Contiki
Web Site.

MARCH
MADNESS TO THE FINAL FOUR
We
Don't End Until Indy

Score one for Indy,
host city for the 2006 Men's Basketball Final Four.
It has already started. This past weekend,
buzzer-beaters began the buzz for small conferences and this week the
Big Boys take center stage for conference tournaments. And next Thursday
the Big Dance begins. It's the NCAA men's basketball tournament, otherwise
known as March Madness.
Thursday thru Sunday is simply the most exciting weekend in sports.
In four days, the field goes from 65 teams to 16. And the goal of them
all is to reach the Final Four, which this year is in Indianapolis.
While Indy may be more known for hosting the annual auto race each
May, it's also the amateur sports capitol of the world and will be hosting
its fifth Final Four and third in the last nine years. Naturally,
this drew upon the curiosity of PubClub, so last week we went there
to check on what will be happening the first weekend of April and to
see the pubs and clubs firsthand.
The result some 30 bars, the NCAA's Hall of Champions, a wall
of sports art and even the Indianapolis Art Museum later we emerged
with four must-read articles for Final Four fans. The city rolled out
the red carpet for PubClub and it's sure to do the same for any visitor.

PARTY
BUSES APRIL 8 AND 22
The World's Fastest Beach Party and
Jimmy Buffett

PubClub arrives
in style at the 2005 Grand Prix and a Parrothead party.
Two major events headline the upcoming
month of April. And PubClub and PubClubbers will be there!
The first is the Long Beach Grand Prix, the World's Fastest Beach Party.
The party bus includes a ride from and back to Hermosa Beach, CA and
admission to the Grand Prix. The bus will arrive in time for the Pro/Celebrity
race and also includes the Rock 'n Roar concert and the Miss Grand Prix
of Long Beach pageant. We will be sending out a follow-up e-mail with
pricing and how to sign up. We will also be holding a special sign-up
party at The Underground in Hermosa Beach; keep a lookout for an announcement
on the date and time.
Last year we had 75 people, the second-biggest group at the Grand Prix.
This year, we're looking to fill up two full buses, so save the date!!!

And,
just two weeks later, we're headed to Margaritaville!!! Where exactly
IS Margaritaville? Well, it's wherever
you want it to be, and on April 22 it will be at
Irvine Meadows!
So get out that aloha shirt, grass skirt, coconut
bra (girls only!) and get ready for The World's Greatest Single-day
Party. There's no way to describe it if you've never seen it, but suffice
to say we'll meet at noon in Manhattan Beach and head down to tailgate
all day. Each parking spot is a tiki bar and you roam the isles from
motorhome or bus to motorhome or bus.
The bus will include the RIDE ONLY; you are on your own for oncert
tickets.
PubClub will be posting links on the home page for Buffett and the
World's Fastest Beach Party under the Shot of the Day within the next
week. It will have information and advance sign-ups.
For those of you NOT in Southern California, Buffett may be coming
to your town. The rumored "no Summer tour" was just that,
a rumor. PubClub has the complete schedule for what is called the "Party
at the End of the World" tour.

SUNDANCE
FILM FESTIVAL
The PubClub Street Team Parties in Park City

The Street Team pauses for a moment to pose.
Celebrities flock there and it's the
second-biggest event in the film industry next to the Oscars.
And this year, the PubClub Street Team was there, as well. It's the
Sundance Film Festival and we've got coverage, photos and tips from
City. Read our extensive review of what it's like at this important
and festive international film festival.

PHOENIX
OPEN
We
Sucked 'em Down at the 16th, Then Nested at The Nest

The Phoenix Open proves one can be at a sports event and not know it.
Tiger Woods refuses to play here because
it's too crazy. Phil Mickelson is greeted with chants of "ASU,
ASU" as if at a basketball game.
And that's just the warmup. Little wonder that the Phoenix Open is
the wildest party on the PGA Tour. And this year, PubClub checked it
out to make sure it was not all hype. And, we are happy to report that
it's all true!
Check out our writeup with many photos, from the course to the 16th,
the food court and the incredible post-round party at the Bird's Nest.
