Canada Gold Rush in the Streets
Photos of the Instant Celebration in Vancouver

Oh, my Canada, you know how to party for a Gold Medal hockey team.

The goal has been achieved because the Gold has been achieved.

Canadians can now drink all that country's great beer in celebration rather than frustration because its men's hockey team acheievd the one thing people in this country wanted most ot of hosting the 2010 Vancover Winter Olympic Games – winning the Gold Media.

Like any moneumental achievement, it was not easy, and not just the final game. But soon after Sidney Crosby scored the winning goal against the USA in overtime to win the Gold, Canadians vacated their bar stools and poured out onto the streets of Vancouver.

PubClub photographer SImon Leung who lives in Yaletown, was on hand to capture the glory in these photos.
