And what a GREAT TIME!!! Here's photos from the event from professional photographer Simon Leung, the official photographer of PubClub.
Photos from Previous Surfest Events Looing for Team PubClub and the PubClubettes was not a problem at Surfest/6-man 2007! We were there and so were thousands others, as once again, PubClub had one of the most popular tents in the tournament. That's saying quite a bit, considering there were an estimated 20,000 people playing and partying all day at the Manhattan Beach Pier. In conjunction with partner LA Beach Realty, the 2007 team was even bigger than last year. . Already, OB's Grill & Bar, home of the South Bay's Best Taco Tuesday, has signed on as an associate sponsor. OB's hosted our PubClubette orientation dinner prior to the tournament. Surfest '07, also known as the 6-man because it's a volleyball tournament consisting of 6-person teams, was Aug. 4-5. The pros at Pacific Coast Studio filmed Team PubClub and the PubClubettes for a high-quality and entertaining team DVD, which will be given to all team members, the PubClubettes and sponsors. Copies will be for sale at the event or you may contact Pacific Coast Studio directly. Put "Surfest '07 DVD in the subject. Come back later to see the 2007 DVD! This page features photos of 2007, the event and Team PubClub.com. While there were many many! warnings of no alcohol on the beach, in reality those who followed the time-honored "red cup" tradition of Manhattan Beach were able to enjoy themselves during the day. Those anti-hangover pills were more popular than the PubClubettes at the PubClub tent. And the Thirsty Swagman, putting together the World's Largest Pub Crawl, was another welcome PubClub sponsor. Now that's a good next party to attend! Pet Foods Market of Manhattan Beach passed out tasty treats (well, for pets anyway!) and the cool bar Blue 32 in Hermosa Beach once again "served" up lunch.
