GA Tickets Sell Out In Hours For First Weekend

Guns ‘n Roses, Ice Cube and 160 more bands and DJs provide the background music for the party that is Coachella for 2016.

The annual two-week music festival takes place in the Southern California desert near Palm Springs on April 15-17 and April 22-24.

Tickets went on sale on Jan. 6 and GA for the first weekend sold out within hours. GA tickets are $389. The GA and shuttle pass is $458, the VIP is $899 and coveted camp spots are $99. This is for three days of one weekend.

Guns ‘n Roses plays Saturday night of the first weekend.

While known for its music, Coachella is actually a free-spirited music and arts festival. In fact, its official name is the Coachella Valley Music And Festival.

Bands are on various stages, there’s DJs and it’s an overall party scene primarily, but certainly not exclusively, for single people in their 20s and 30s.

It’s lively, upbeat and THE social and entertainment happening in the Los Angeles are the end of April.
