Hot Girls Help To Identify Drivers To Fans Before Races
You can’t have race cars, drivers and fans without having hot girls.
And often the hottest girls at a race track are the ones in matching outfits known as the grid girls. Some are flat-out stunning, gorgeous girls who turn heads, cause guys to say stupid guy things and run up to them to ask for photos.
But exactly what are the grid girls and what do they do at a race? And how do they differ from the race queens who stand on the podium and get soaked with champagne with the race winner?

These racing pit girls are the lovely ladies who stand by the drivers while the cars are on the grid before the start of the race. They hold up a large sign with the driver’s name and usually stand next to the front left-side tire of the car. Call them a girl car racer if you like.
This helps fans identify where the drivers are situated before the drivers get in their cars to start the race. The girls are also utilized earlier on race weekend to perform the same function during the drivers’ autograph session.
And, of course, they add a heck of a lot of beauty to an area dominated by men and machines.
There are as many grid girls as their are drivers.
During the race, they often visit the VIP suites to give those high-paying sponsors and customers something other than race cars to keep their eyes glued to for a while.
The race queens are three girls – often in different uniforms from the grid girls – who stand on the podium with the top three drivers after the race.
They do a lot more than that during the three days of a race weekend, including spending time with sponsors, attending race private events and – of course – adding beautify and pageantry to the event.
