5 Reasons Land Is Better Than Sea, Including The Nightlife
The setting is sensational and some of the landscape so breathtaking it rattles your romantic nerves to quivering proportions.
So it would seem that taking a cruise to the Greek Island would be a great trip for singles people.
But PubClub.com says NO! Here’s five reasons why it’s better to be on land than on a ship in Greece.
1.) You’re Leaving The Islands Just As The Fun Begins On Them
While PubClub is sitting at Tropical Bar high on a cliff in Santorini having a drink watching a beautiful sunset over the caldera, the cruise ship is departing the scene.
It’s sailing into the sunset and the passengers – back on board after spending they day shopping in the jewelry shops of Fira and perhaps riding a donkey up some stairs – are back in their rooms getting ready for dinner.
They are missing one of the true pleasures of being in the Greek Islands, sunset in Santorini. Then they are missing out of the lively nightlife, back at Tropical Bar, the rocking Two Brothers Bar where dancing on the bar is almost a requirement and the mostly outdoor Koo Club nightclub.
2.) What, No Amoudi?
Before those drinks at Tropical Bar a gorgeous place to spend the day in Santorini is the tiny port of Amoudi. Just below Oia, it’s rocks dropping into the sea where you can lay around, jump off the edges of cliffs and have a fresh lunch from the small boats in the tiny harbor.
It’s difficult to spend the day at Amoudi if you’re on a cruise ship because getting there eats up valuable land time (you’ll have to take a taxi and then time there is limited). The funny thing about being here is that while you’re swimming in the water, you can see cruise ships plowing through the sea at a distance.
Definitely in this case, it’s much better to be in the water than on the water.
3.) You’ll MIss The Party At Paradise Beach In Mykonos
How could any single person go to the Greek Islands and not experience the daytime beach party on Paradise Beach? For singles, it is often paradise! Plus, they have full moon parties once a month.
4.) The Skandinavian Bar in Mykonos!
How could any single person go to the Greek Islands and not experience the nighttime party happens, well, nightly at the Skandinavian Bar in Mykonos?
5.) The Nightlife & Other Singles
The Greek Islands in the summertime have some of the best nightlife on the planet for singles, so to miss that while being on a cruise ship is, well, not advised.
With all these factors, it’s clearly far better for singles to be on the island than cruising around them. But, of course, whatever floats your boat!
