Tequila Drinks Recipes For Cocktails Other Than Margaritas

Say Ole! With These South Of The Border Libations

When it comes to making cocktails with tequila, there’s more than the margarita.

Yes, we all know about mixing it with orange juice for that morning-after-the-night-before pain killer, the Tequila Sunrise. But you can also do creative craft cocktails, and PubClub.com has these recommended drinks and recipes to expand your tequila horizon.

One option is to use Maestro Dobel Humito, the world’s first smoked tequila. Technically, they call one of their cocktails a margarita but this is no ordinary margarita, so we’re including it in this article.

Let It Linger Margarita Tequila Cocktail

• 2 oz Humito
• 1 oz Fresh lime juice
• 1/2 oz of agave
• Muddled Fresno Chili
• Cucumber Garnish

Mix the Humito, Fresh lime juice and agave in a shaker glass
Shake vigorously
Muddle the fresno chili
Serve in a coupe glass
Garnish with Cucumber

The Guava Smolder Tequila Cocktail

• 2 oz Maestro Dobel Humito
• 1 oz Guava Puree
• 1/2 oz Canton Ginger Liquor
• 1/2 oz Lemon Juice
ª 1/4 oz Giffard Pamplemousse Rose
• 3 dash Peychaurd Bitters
• Black Salt

Mix all the ingredients in a shaker glass
Shake vigorously
Served in a rocks glass with Black Salt Rim
Garnish with a Lemon wedge
