Nothin’ But Sand Event Features Gran Centenario Tequila’s Angels On Earth Program
If there’s one thing that will drive a #beachlife lover like myself crazy, it’s seeing trash on the beach.
I pick it up all the tine where I reside, Hermosa Beach in Southern California. Now, one would think that environmentally-conscious Californians would take care of their beaches and not litter. But unfortunately that’s not the case.
Fortunately, we have organizations like Heal The Bay that have regular beach cleanups, and there is one Saturday, Feb. 18, in Venice Beach.
It takes place from 10 a.m.-noon. Volunteers should bring a sand bucket if they have one. This is a rain-or-shine event so dress accordingly.
It is organized by Gran Centenario Tequila’s Angels On Earth’s program.
This Nothin’ But Sand beach cleanup, as it is called, also involves the Los Angeles 2024 Olympic bid initiative. Visit LA 2024’s booth will be at the February Nothin’ But Sand beach cleanup, so see how you can support Los Angeles becoming the host city of the 2024 Olympic & Paralympic Games.
Afterward, all volunteers 21-and-over get a post-cleanup party at Cabo Cantina featuring Gran Centenario specialty cocktails and bites. Come meet PubClub.com over some of these great drinks!
Gran Centenario and the “Angels on Earth” program has partnered with organizations across education, the arts and neighborhood groups to honor real life “Angels” and individuals for their acts of service. Past supporters have included Christina Milian, Ryan Phillippe and Brody Jenner.
The Angels on Earth program is set to travel to other cities beyond Venice Beach throughout 2017 with focuses on the individual cities needs with the help of Gran Centenario Tequila.
