Crimson Tide & Tigers Play For National Championship
The season-long storm of college football has arrived in Santa Clara – along with a real storm and what the heck were the decision-makers thinking when they put the championship game in a damp and cold location in the first place – with the two storm chasers ready to meet at the summit of the sport’s mountain.
All the other teams were trying to reason with a hurricane season throughout the year, with many more pretenders than contenders being washed away by not just a powerful Crimson Tide but also a floating fortress of felines from South Carolina and underachievements based on overly ambitious expectations.
So here we are, some 4,000 miles from college football’s hotbed, contesting a National Championship in an professional sports landscape in front of a bunch of techys.

But the Fighting Dabos have a weakness that plays right into the Pachyderms plans. Once past its gauntlet of a front line, opponents can throw the ball deep in an area as vast as the nearby Monterey Canyon. South Carolina torched the Tigers for 510 yards and five touchdowns and with Tua as captain of the Tide’s ship, this will be fertile fishing ground for Bama. Winner: Alabama
