LA Weather Finally Returns To Normal
Rain was forecast. Again.
When will it end!?
But then I woke up on a Sunday morning – it was barely morning, because the previous day I was on a pub crawl but it was morning none-the-less – and much to my pleasant surprise water was not coming down from the sky.
Instead, the sun was out and it was warm. Yes, a typical Southern California weather day. Finally!
All winter we have been pounded by rain, and when it has not been raining its has been cold. Frigid, even (it was upper 30s one night!).
People took advantage of this day by going on bike rides along the beach, hiking and being outside. I took advantage of it by grabbing the Sunday LA Times and taking it out to the patio to read while I are lunch under the watchful eyes of the roommate’s dog, who looked sad and hungry, tho I knew just the opposite was the case with him.
I then unplugged the laptop from its usual place in my room and brought it outside. It’s going to be a busy week and this was one of the few times the next several days I will have time to post new article on PubClub.com and promote them through social media.
No longer am I at the beach since I had to move because our former rented house is one of many being leveled for a $10 million spec home, tho I suspect the beach volleyball court in front of it was lively with games all day. Instead, I spent the day on a nice patio with palm trees all round me. It was very peaceful.
This experience was nice and apparently I had get used to it because there’s more good weather news on the horizon: the forecast shows nothing but sunny skies and temperatures into the upper 60s through the following weekend.
That means it will be a beautiful day for the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade here in Hermosa. That day, my friend Soul Cole and myself also hope to be debuting PubClub LIVE! That’s a live show on Facebook Live, Instagram Live and Twitter Live from Tower 12 bar and restaurant.
Since there will be 5,000 people around the pier for the parade, this is the ideal time to launch a live show from a happening bar overlooking Pier Plaza.
Back to this sunny Sunday, it was nice to be back in the Southern California weather groove. I – and many other residents out here – have missed it.
