Hurricane Delta is scheduled to hit the state of Louisiana west of New Orleans on Friday, and its wind and rain will be traveling up the state thru the weekend. Its conditions will also be felt in Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi on Saturday, which means several SEC games will feel its impact.

Here is how it is affecting these college football games.

• LSU-Missouri. Originally scheduled to be played at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, it has been moved to Faurot Field in Columbia. Kickoff will be at Noon, ET (11 a.m., local time). It was originally scheduled to be a night game in Baton Rouge, starting at 9 p.m., ET. It will air one one of the SEC Alternative Network, then immediately afterward will be on the SEC Network.

“Due to the pending impact of Hurricane Delta on Louisiana and the surrounding area, it is in the best interest for the safety of everyone involved to move the game to Columbia,” SEC commissioner Greg Sankey said.

“It was critical to relocate the game to an SEC campus where SEC COVID-19 management protocols are in place and readily applied. I appreciate the cooperation of the schools who are working closely to make the appropriate operational adjustments in order to prioritize the health and safety of our student-athletes while accommodating this change in the schedule.”

• Alabama at Ole Miss. Kickoff has been moved back an hour and a half due to expected heavy rains from Hurricane Delta. So the start time is now 7:30 ET (6:30 local time) instead of the originally scheduled 6 p.m. It will still be televised by ESPN. The forecast calls for rain all day with potential thundershowers. Winds should top out at about 15 mph.

• Tennessee at Georgia. The weather in Athens will be overcast with a strong possibility of rain later in the afternoon and into the evening. Kickoff is 3:30 p.m., ET. It is being broadcast on CBS as its SEC Game of the Week.

• Arkansas at Auburn. Thunderstorms are expected as part of Hurricane Delta sweep through the Plains. The showers should taper off at night. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m., ET (3 p.m, local time). It will be on ESPN after initially being scheduled on the SEC Network.
