One of the most colorful “things to do” in San Diego is to visit the vibrant Carlsbad Flower Fields. The 2025 season is in full bloom and runs for approximately six to eight weeks through Mother’s Day.
The Southern California attraction’s 2025 theme of “Where Color Takes Flight” is inspired by this year’s unique outdoor installation featuring over three dozen larger-than-life sculptures of birds and insects, expertly crafted from Dalle de Verre glass and steel to embody the wonder of flight.
There are some new attractions there this hyear and here’s what activities are available beyond just being immersed in the colorful flowers.
• A New Butterfly Encounter experience just past the Illusion Garden
• Flavors of the farm from the Pizza Trolley serving artisan pizzas on the trolley
• Family Yoga on April 14
