Get your tiki on at Tiki Oasis in San Diego.
The multi-day festival is back and the 2025 dates are Aug. 6-10. The location is the traditional Town & Country Inn in Mission Valley (ideally suited in the center of town and right off a Green Line trolley stop) and in fact the entire property is turned into a tik oasis for five days.
There are pool parties with a band and dancers, a large stage with bands nightly, a DJ, a happening bar and conference rums converted into rum tasting paradise and an everything-you-can-imagine-and-then-some Tiki Marketplace.
This is the 25th anniversary for Tiki Oasis and the bands include the Sharades, the Blue Hawaiians, Ape, Lenny Kaye and several with the tiki-interesting names of Jason Hannah & The Swinging Bananas, The Fisherman Tiki Band, King Kukulele and Martini Kings.

Plus, at night many of the rum distributors have “suite parties” in which ticket holders can go from room to room sampling rum drinks.
If Tiki Oasis San Diego sounds like it’s fun, it is, beyond a doubt.
Now all this fun isn’t free, of course (except for the Tiki Marketplace). Prices start at $180 and rise to $699. Tiki Oasis San Diego can be purchased here. Tickets for the seminars are seperate.
