Beer On The Bus, A Beer Garden, Bikini Contest And Live Music Await In Long Beach
There will be a party bus running from Hermosa Beach to Long Beach for the biggest beach party of the year.
The event is the World Series of Beach Volleyball, an event featuring the planet’s top pros in a USA-vs-the-world format, plus the fun weekend players from the South Bay in their own 4-man and 6-man teams. Costumes anyone!?
But more than that, the World Series of Beach Volleyball is a party! Starting Friday it features live music, DJs, and expands on Saturday with a Bud Light beer garden and bikini contests all day. Sunday is the finals and more bands and beer.
The party bus leaves Hermosa on Friday and Saturday at 8 a.m., and it returns at 8 p.m. If organizer Smack Sportswear can get enough people who want to go later, the bus can do a later departure, with a time of 10 a.m. The bus will also bring back all those who need a ride after the event.
The departure location is in front of Broadway burgers on Hermosa Ave., just south of the Pier. The return location is in front of Tequila Jack’s in Shoreline Village.
The bus is free for people on the 6-man teams (and some spots are still available) and $10 each way for the party hoppers.
And the bus includes free Bud Light beer!
