A Day On The Green At Siromet Winery In Brisbane More Like A Music Festival

I’m going to a wine festival today.

In Australia!

And this is not just any wine festival, it’s a rock concert with wine. There are several local bands playing, the event takes place in a big field. It goes from 3-10 p.m.

It’s called A Day On The Green at it takes place Siromet Winery In Brisbane.

The event is more like music festival rather than what I – or perhaps just us Americans, maybe they do these things differently Down Under – consider to be a wine festival.  You know, the three-hour tasting of various wines. Some of them are paired with food – like the upcoming San Diego Wine & Food Festival – but this one offers more than just the wines.

I assume there’s beer, as well. And there is food for sale from several vendors, although our group is taking our own food and making a picnic out of it.

Obviously, I’m looking forward to it!
