Convention Features Bars, Beers & Spirits

The biggest gathering of nightclub and bar industry professionals – from bartenders to executives – has another new date in 2020.
Originally scheduled for March and initially rescheduled for June, it will now be Oct. 19-21 at its usual home, the Las Vegas Convention Center. There is one change in the venue, however, as it will move from the South Hall to the Central Hall. The Expo dates are Oct. 20-21.
“We recognize all the hard work that so many have put into preparing for their exhibit booths, speaker presentations and entertainment programs that accompany every Nightclub & Bar Show event,” said Paul Miller, CEO of Nightclub & Bar Show parent company, Questex.

The 35-year-old convention is a “must attend” event for anyone in the industry. It’s floor consists of practically everything associated with bars and nightlife: lighting, barstools, sound systems and lots – lots – of beer and alcohol.
Several beer and spirits companies, and even those who make mixes, have booths offering samples of their products. Some go all out; one year Red Bull created a space that was like walking into a Vegas nightclub.
Speaking of walking into a Vegas nightclubs, attendees can opt for a party package of sorts that includes parties at the clubs. PubClub.com saw Tiesto at Hakkasan and concerts and performances by Sammy Hagar, Blues Traveler and Cirque du Soleil.
While intended for those in the industry, anyone who buys a pass can attend the show. The event’s website has pricing for the various passes.
