Open Auditions for Miss USA Contestants Take Place June 16
Here’s an opportunity to get up close and personal with Miss USA California and, perhaps, Miss Universe.
A preliminary contest for Miss USA is taking place at Infusion Lounge at Universal City Walk Hollywood on Saturday, June 16. The winner of Miss USA goes on to compete to be Miss Universe. The event is open not just to bar patrons, but to girls who want to compete in the pageant.
Current Miss California USA Natalie Pack is the hostess, and she’s not the only babe at the event. Several girls from The Bachelor will also be there, among them Natalie Getz, Samantha Char and Lisa Morrisey.
The event runs from 9 p.m.-midnight and includes a fashion runway show featuring American and international designers featuring the girls from The Bachelor and, of course, a rocking post-event party.
Featuring two expansive floors within a dramatic Asian-inspired interior, Infusion Lounge Hollywood is a two-level bar with an Asian-inspired decor. It has a sister location in San Francisco.
Infusion Lounge is located at Universal City Walk, 1000 Universal Studios Blvd., #208.
Make a list of small accessories that you may need as you tour Universal Studios. It can be a very noisy place, and some of the attractions are deafening, so bring along some earplugs for everyone in the family. Sunscreen is an absolute must, as are hats to protect you from the sun. Leave your purse at home or locked in the trunk, and use a fanny pack or backpack instead. There are also lockers available through guest services if you need a secure, dry place to store your belongings while you have a blast in the park.”
