Bar at Harrah’s New Orleans Features Themed Club Nights on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays & Fridays; SIN Night is Monday
It’s not on Bourbon Street or even in the French Quarter for that matter (right on the edge of it, across Canal Street), but Masquerade nightclub is bringing something to nightlife in New Orleans that you can’t get on Bourbon Street or in the Quarter: Themed club nights.
Located inside Harrah’s New Orleans Casino, Masquerade has the city’s only Latin Night featuring salsa lessons, a Ladies Night on Fridays, plus a brass band night on Sundays and SIN night on Mondays.
Every Sunday, Harrah’s has SWEAT (Your BrAss Off), from 8-10 p.m. These are shows by New Orleans musicians, including Grammy award-winning Rebirth Brass Band, Stooges Brass Band, Kinfolk Brass Band and the BrassAholics. After they leave the stage, Masquerade’s resident DJ takes over with old-school hip-hop.
Every Monday it’s SINdustry for New Orleans’ service industry workers. This night features drink specials, contests to become VIP of the week and music by Masquerade’s resident DJ. It starts at 9 p.m., and goes until 1 in the morning.
Tuesdays is the city’s only downtown Latin Night, Rueda de Casino, from 8-midnight. Hosted by Grammy-nominated and Billboard Award-winning duo Bill Summers & Jazalsa SE, the free event features complimentary salsa lessons and Latin-inspired drink specials.
On Fridays, as Kool and the Gang likes to sing, it’s Ladies Night. From 10 p.m.-3 p.m. – prime Friday night party time – girls get the $240 bottle service for $100 and other drink specials.
Masquerade is located in the center of Harrah’s and has DJs, an ice bar, giant video tower and slots and game tables.
