Todd English P.U.B on Tuesdays Promotion Discontinued Despite What Is Seen On Some Vegas Nightlife Websites
A friend was headed to Las Vegas on a Tuesday and did an Internet search on where he could drink for cheap.
He found “several” websites – all of which will remain nameless – that touted nickle beers! Well that certainly fit his college-sized budget. The deal was said to be on Tuesdays from 9-11 p.m.
So he headed over to the Todd English P.U.B. in CityCenter on the Strip. Needless to say, he was primed to pound beers at this pub. He could get drunk for a buck!
Upon arriving, however, he found no nickle beers, only blank stares from the staff.
“I got there and no one knew what I was talking about,” he said. “The bartenders looked at me like I was crazy. I finally spoke with a hostess who said they stopped doing it a while ago.
“She seemed to be then only one there who even heard about it.”
Then he added, “I know the owner of PubClub.com, and he would not allow this to happen.”
So there you go. Don’t believe everything you read on some of those nightlife websites. Trust sources like PubClub.com, that are personally written by a trained journalist.
Now, pardon me while I get back to my $5 beer.
