Chicago St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2017 Saturday March 11

WHAT: One of the world’s biggest and best St. Paddy’s Day celebrations involves a parade and lot of Irish bars along the route. It’s always on the Saturday before St. Paddy’s Day.

SCHEDULE: The river goes green with an environmentally-friendly dye at 9 a.m., at the intersection of Michigan Ave., and Wacker Drive. Noon: The parade, which goes through Grant Park, runs north along Columbus Drive, beginning at Balbo Drive and ending at Monroe Drive. Best viewing is along the river between Michigan Ave., and Columbus Drive.
