Manhattan Beach 6-Man 2017 Event Dates Add To Calendar

WHAT: A dress-up beach volleyball tournament in which players of all levels wear costumes and play six-vs-six with themed teams. It is returning to a Saturday for one day for the the first time in several years. The event is free to spectators.

THE SCENE: Crazy. A couple thousand people on the beach playing and socializing. Top collegiate indoor players, some Olympians and even Los Angeles professional sports athletes play alongside ragged weekend players. It used to be the South Bay’s biggest party. There will be heavy police presence to keep people from bringing drinks onto the beach.

SINGLES SCENE: This is one of the best singles events of the year in the singles-heavy South Bay of Los Angeles.
