WHAT: The Big Gig, the world’s largest music festival with 12 stages in a Midwestern carnival summer fair setting. It’s right along the lake in downtown Milwaukee. It goes from late June thru mid-July; closed on July 3.
HEADLINER BANDS: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Luke Brian, Paul Simon, Zac Brown Band, Pink
TICKETS: GA is $20 weekends, $15 weekdays, #48 for a three-day pass, $110 for 11-day pass. $5 admission from noon-6 p.m.
THE SCENE: This is THE event of the summer in Milwaukee and the surrounding area.
