Top 10 Rankings Of Southeastern Conference Biggest Party Schools

Now all you COVID-19 watch list folks out there, don’t get all bent out of shape. PubClub has published both a video and article urging students to wear masks. This is for normal times and it is based on tradition, culture, tailgatign and the overall fun-loving attitude of not just students, but also alumni.
After all, the party side of a person doesn’t leave one’s soul when they get that diploma.
Also, note that not every school is listed, for this is a list of the top party schools, not one of every school.
So with all this in mind, here is PubClub.com’s list of the Top SEC Party Schools:
1.) Alabama
The Tide is tops for several reasons but all one has to do is go to Innesfree Pub on a Friday night and Gallette’s after a Bama game to understand why Alabama is #1 in this ranking. Add to this the overall scene, students who love to party, awesome bar owners and of course a winning football team and the Tide rolls to the top of this list.
2.) LSU
Have you ever been to New Orleans? Well it’s that “Laissez les bons temps rouler” attitude in the Red Baton that rank this school so high here. Toss in LSU football and the awesome tailgate party and the crazy Cajuns know how to let the good times roll.
3.) Ole Miss
This could be the #1 school based on the tailgate scene at the Grove alone. After all, “we’ve may not win a lot of games but we’ve never lost a party” is a pretty good slogan. But Ole Miss ranks third because the scene is simply bigger at the schools ahead of it.
4.) Tennessee
The main party street by the UT campus has long been know as “the Strip” and while it’s not exactly like the Strip in Las Vegas, it’s lined with fun college bars and fun college students. The Vols like to “volunteer” to go there as well as climb good ‘ol Rocky Top, a place where people get their corn from a jar.
5.) Florida
Speaking of bars, there’s something like 80 of them in Gainesville with Midtown and downtown being the two hot spots. Every year – except probably this one – there’s a massive event known as Gator Stompin,’ a ticketed bar crawl for charity in the fall and spring that gets about 3,000 students.
6.) Auburn
Rolling trees with toilet paper is really a redneck thing but that’s not the only partying they do down on The Plains. Southeastern is a very popular bar located by Toomer’s Oaks and Toomer Place is the place to be on a partying college night in Auburn.
7.) Texas A&M
PubClub’s proof here is hanging out with an attractive female A&M alumn who assures us this is well deserving of being a top party school.
8.) Missouri
Let’s face it, Mizzou offers little in the distractions department from an athletic standpoint, so students gulp pizza and beers at Shakespeare’s Pizza and then go party.
9.) Kentucky
The ‘Cats can get wild, and they do in Lexington, especially before and after basketball games. And college town with a bar called Stagger Inn deserves a mention in PubClub’s Top 10 list.
10.) South Carolina
PubClub has a soft place in our heart for Columbia as a party town based on some excellent experiences with a few of the ladies while covering the Gamecocks football team. We’ll leave it at that for now, but all one has to do is go to Five Points or Main Street by the campus to experience some of this university’s excellent Southern hospitality.
