Welcome to Ibiza!
Often referred to as “Party capital of the world,” this island in Spain has long had a reputation for nightlife, going back to its hippie days in the 60s and 70s. Today it’s a mecca for the world’s most famous DJs, many of whom have their own weekly nights at Ibiza clubs. Foam parties in gigantic nightclubs have become a thing of legend on Ibiza, as people party well into the morning. In fact, one legendary club, Space, did not even open until the others had closed, at 7 a.m.
And while Ibiza is evolving like every other place from a nightlife standpoint, three of its original clubs – Pacha, Amnesia and Es Paradís – are still cranking today.
While Ibiza is a summertime destination for party-seeking tourists from all over the world, the season starts the end of April with opening parties at Ibiza nightclubs, which last for three weeks.
Ibiza does have its own airport for international flights, so getting there is easy.
