Corfu is in the Ionian Islands which makes its location easy accessible from all directions, but it’s no quick hop to or from the Cyclades. Most travelers arrive through the southern Italian ports of Bari or Brindisi. The 8-hour ferry ride costs about 30 Euro per person and only 6 Euro with a Eurail pass.
That route is the most popular to Corfu and the rest of Greece. But you can also get to Corfu with the Pink Palace bus from Athens, by boat from Patras or by plane from Athens or other destinations.
Corfu Daytime Activities
Beside toga parties, there are several daytime activities to stir the travelers’ souls. There’s the beach, cliff-jumping, and cave exploring.
Oh, and a booze cruise.
You’ll have no trouble finding these activities; people will tell you where when you meet them and the hotel can point you in the right direction.
Which, the day after the toga party, may not exactly be a STRAIGHT direction, but you’ll get there in time.
