
There’s a lot to do in Southern California for Memorial Day Weekend and Big Bear Lake is providing an incentive go to the mountains for it.
Visit Big Bear is giving its lodging guests free tickets to the 8th Annual Big Bear Lake Maifest (pronounced My Fest).
Big Bear Lake Maifest is a springtime version of Oktoberfest, which provides the same ambiance of cheerful revelries as Oktoberfest.This Oktoberfest spinoff event is Memorial Day weekend, Saturday, May 24 and Sunday, May 25. In addition, Big Bear’s Maifest will extend an extra weekend for a special encore date on Saturday, May 31. Among its activities is a stein-holding contest, the winner of which wins a trip to New York City to compate in the National Stein Holding Competition.
Big Bear guests that book two or more nights lodging accommodations on BigBear.com for either Memorial Day Weekend (May 23 to May 26) or next weekend (May 30 to June 1), are automatically eligible to receive free general admission tickets for the entire group to Big Bear Lake Maifest. Each guest listed on the lodging reservation will receive a QR code that confirms the free tickets at the time of booking. Guests can simply redeem the tickets at the Maifest event by having their ticket confirmation QR code scanned at the gate.

Big Bear Lake Maifest take place at Big Bear Lake Convention Center; home to Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest, located at 42900 Big Bear Blvd. To qualify for free Maifest tickets, guest need to book a minimum two-night stay in Big Bear.
