Advice On House Parties, Drinking and Partying on Independence Day in This Fun Los Angeles Beach City

Hermosa Beach 4th of July hot girls
These girls don’t have to know anyone to get into a party on the 4th of July in Hermosa Beach.

It’s one of the top party locations for the 4th of July in the country, a place on the beach with a sidewalk along the shore and house parties with nearly every step.

The day begins with a unique event, something called The Ironman where local “competitors” run a mile, paddle a mile in the Pacific Ocean, then chug a 6-pack. With beer judges to make sure they don’t cheat!

There are tens of thousands of people packed into a two-mile area between Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach, and most of them are on the Strand. Or at a house party on the Strand. Or, on Pier Plaza, which has a half-dozen cozy bars.

Yes, it’s a party! But there are certain rules that good party people need to know. Here’s the Top 5 Party Tips for the 4th of July in Hermosa Beach:

1.) Don’t Crash A Party If You Don’t Know Anyone. This seems common courtesy anywhere, but for some reason some people think they belong everywhere in Hermosa Beach on the 4th. If you go around trying to crash parties, the host or friends of the host will either ask you to leave or just ignore you. Some big parties even have security; ignore those completely if you don’t konw the host.

Cute girls, on the other hand, are welcome at any and all house parties!

2.)  Have Your Own Drinks. Even if you are cruising the Strand and see someone you know someone at a party, it’s best to have your own beer or drinks.  Don’t show up to party with people you barely know and go straight for the keg. Bring your own beer and don’t be a mooch. Sometimes, there’s a big line at the keg anyway, so this way you get to mingle with the girls and guys faster.

Cute girls, on the other hand, are can show empty-handed to a party! It won’t be long before you’re offered a drink.

3.) Conceal Your Cocktails in Public. If you’re on the Strand or anywhere in public and have drinks, conceal them in colored containers. The ol’ red cups don’t work anymore. So be clever and don’t stand out in the crowd!

Cute girls, well, not even your looks will save you if you get caught.

4.) Check out the Fireworks. They are launched just to the south in Redondo Beach at dusk. You can go there, or just enjoy the show from the Strand or the beach.

5.) Don’t Do Anything Stupid. Be mature. Don’t  puke on the Strand or pee in someone’s yard. The City Council and Police Department are looking for any excuse to shut down the party, so have fun but keep it under control.
