Being Social In The South Bay This Spring

Smackfest Events is smacking the beach volleyball and kickball with the start of its spring classes.
And it’s also pouring on the fun with its third annual Beach Cities Beer & Wine Festival.
Here are details and dates on each happening. They all take place in Hermosa Beach south of the pier. All of these events are great ways to meet people and be social in the South Bay. So if you’re new to Hermosa and the South Bay, then by all means get involved in these activities.
Kickball Classes
You remember kickball from when you were a kid playing it in elementary school, correct? Well it’s the same thing here except adults are playing it and they are on the beach. And then, of course, they all go to the bar afterward, for Smackfest Events has drinks specials at Sharkeez.
Classes start April 4.

Beach Volleyball Classes
The culture of the South Bay is centered around beach volleyball. If you don’t don’t know how to play or (like me) need a refresher course in how to bump, set and spike, take this Smackfest Events class. You’ll learn all the basics or fine-tune your skills.
They are open to all levels of play and those in the class all go to the bar afterward, for Smackfest Events has drinks specials at Sharkeez. Notice a pattern here?
Classes start April 7.
