Event Features Craft Beers, Local Restaurants & Entertainment
The craft beer and food festival known as the Bite At The Beach returns to Manhattan Beach Studios, for 2918 which is an active TV and movie location, in August.
Several hundred people from throughout the South Bay will be at it, which features craft breweries, local restaurants and live entertainment.
Here’s everything you need to need to know about this event from the breweries to the restaurants, the location and tickets.
WHAT: A lively craft beer and food festival held in a TV and movie location, primarily catering to the Beach Cities crowd of Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach. It is put on by the Manhattan Beach Chamber Of Commerce.
DATE: Saturday, Aug. 11
HOURS: 2-6 p.m.
WHERE: Manhattan Beach Studios, 1600 Rosecrans Manhattan Beach, CA.
THE LOCATION: The studio has been used for CSI, Scorpion, the new Planet of the Apes, as well as the new Nicky Melange music video.
RESTAURANTS: Bataan 21, Playa Hermosa, Lisa’s Bon Appetit, Zinc Lounge (Shade hotel), Olive Garden and Fresh Brothers pizza. (More to be announced.)
BREWERIES: LA Aleworks, Strand House Brewery, Lagunitas. (More to be announced.)
BAND & ENTERTAINMENT: TBD
THE CROWD & SCENE: A good mix of South Bay singles (always on the lookout to mingle) and “fun” couples in a very energetic, upbeat and casual upscale scene.

PARKING/TRANSPORTATION: Parking is very limited. PubClub.com suggests to take Uber or Lyft or even the “Dollar Taxi,” the white Beach Cities Transit bus (109 line) which costs $1 each way has a dropoff and pickup location across the street. The link above has the schedule.
