Redondo Beach Fireworks Back To The 4th

The big news is that the 4th of July fireworks in Redondo Beach are back on Independence Day in 2019.
Last year there was local outrage when they were on a Saturday, which happened to be on July 1 (and, ironically, on Canada Day).
But all is right in the South Bay again for the 4th of July.

Fourth Of July Los Angeles Fireworks Update

Here’s a rundown of other fireworks celebrations around Los Angeles and what you can see in the South Bay, including the Marina del Rey fireworks. You might also be able to catch a few puffs of smoke over Palos Verdes for the San Pedro fireworks. Or you can be bold and go to the Rose Bowl or Queen Mary.

Fourth Of July Hermosa Beach 2019

It starts, of course, with the Ironman. And then spills out onto The Strand for a series of house parties. Tho I suspect the number of parties and the wildness of them will be evident that the 4th is on a Wednesday this year.
And you know the drill with the house parties: You need to know someone to get into it UNLESS you are a cute girl in a skimpy American flag bikini (Daisy Duke shorts and a cowboy hat works, too).
If you’re at a house party where you know the hosts and spot a moocher do NOT give him (or her) a drink. As I mentioned in this space last year, the best way to get rid of a moocher is to treat them like a patrolling shark – you have to cut off its food (or drink) source. So don’t feed the sharks!
Hermosa Beach Strand & Beach Parties
They are all over The Strand and the walk streets in Hermosa Beach. The general rule is that these are private parties and only those invited are welcome at them. The exception to this rules is this: if you are a sexy girl wearing a bikini then you’re invited to join the party.
Guys should have a 12-pack with them or some other booze just in case they get invited to join a hose party.
Otherwise, go party on the pier where the bars will be going strong starting at around Noon. Top party places are: Tower 12, Sharkeez, Patrick Molloy’s and American Junkie.
