Beyond the music that is the BeachLife festival, there is food and drinks. And for elevated moments of the latter there is the DAOU SideStage Experience, a culinary “setlist” created by event Executive Chef Jacob Ramos and hosted by DAOU Vineyards.
It is a sophisticated festival dining experience on the LowTide stage with views of not just the bands but also of the Pacific Ocean. Bands on the stage include ZZ Top, Devo, Steel Pulse and Sugar Ray on the weekend of May 3-5 at Seaside Lagoon in Redondo Beach, CA.
“It’s the best dining experience you can have in LA,!” Ramos enthusiastically exclaimed. “I invited some incredibly talented chefs to help curate an amazing menu. Then we add legendary live performances with an epic ocean view. There’s, literally, nothing else like it!”
Featured chefs are pastry and savory chef Ian Gresik (The Arbor in Pasadena and the award-winning Drago Centro in downtown Los Angeles), Nyesha Arrington (Food Network’s “Top Chef” and “Chopped”) and David Slay (La Veranda in Beverly Hills, Slay Estate and Vineyard. and a Manhattan Beach native). Ramos will be the chef for the Saturday and Sunday bruches.
Seating for this culinary adventure is limited and only offered to BeachLife ticket holders. VIPs have first priority for reservations. Tickets, which range in prrice from $150-215, can be purchased here.
