The Fireworks Show
The 2018 fireworks are on Sunday, July 1, in 2018.

Top Redondo Beach Fireworks Viewing Locations
The prime viewing locations are along and near the water. The best spots are along the seawall by the Portofino stretching south to the International Boardwalk at the pier, on the pier above the International Boardwalk and just behind that, Veterans Park. There is also prime viewing on the beach and Strand south of the pier and above that all along the Esplanade.
You can also get very good views on the beach by the Chart House and anywhere along the sand in neighboring Hermosa Beach. The Redondo Beach Pier is the most crowded location; to get a good spot it’s best to arrive by about 8:15 p.m.
Shade Hotel Pool Party & Viewing Party
Shade Hotel in Redondo’s King Harbor has an afternoon pool party (2-6 p.m..) and an evening viewing party, both at its rooftop Aquadeck. The cost for the pool party is $20, as is the viewing party.
Seaside Lagoon Party
The closed-off mini-beach area has an all-day event with a prime view of the fireworks. This is mostly for kids and families and there are no longer bands and beer, cocktails and food booths. It opens at 2 and closes at 10. The cost is $25 for adults and $15 for kids. You can bring in your own food and non-alcoholic drinks and there is no cooking.
