Nightlife Happenings & Events In Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach And Redondo Beach

You have to love living in the South Bay.
Here we are in the middle of November, seemingly a time when we can relax, take a break from the bars and party scene to catch our collective breath, and yet there’s still things happening to get us out and about in the Beach Cities.
And we can’t even wait for the weekend, for it starts on a Thursday with a big event at Sharkeez Hermosa!
SMACKFEST SOCIAL THURSDAY
Tonite is Smackfest Social Thursday night at Sharkeez with flip cup challenges, free pitchers of Bud Light, 20% off on food and a list of drink specials as long as your arm. It starts at 7 p.m., and happens the second Thursday of each month. Talk about a great way to start your weekend!
ROCK & BREWS BEER FESTIVAL SUNDAY
The 5th annual Rock & Brews Beer Festival takes place this Sunday in El Segundo.
The Breweries are El Segundo, Monkish, Golden Road, Smog City, Absolution, Strand Brewing, King Harbor, Phantom Carriage, Boom Town Brewing, Santa Monica Brew Works, Three Weavers, Wolf Creek and Ohana.

BERRY BLY EVENTS
Here’s his schedule for the month of November:
• Fridays (11/13, 11/20, 11/27): 80’s Party @ Standing Room w/ the M80’s

• Wednesday 11/25: Ocean Bar Pre-Thanksgiving Bash
NEW BAR ON THE REDONDO BEACH PIER – THE BOOGIE

Boogie on over to the new bar on the Redondo Beach Pier. It’s called The Boogie and it’s where the old Dive at Brixton was located, downstairs at the back of and below Barney’s Beanery.
It has karaoke on Wednesdays, Fridays is reggae night and it also features live music from full bands to acoustic. Plus, there’s rarely a cover (only when a promoter has a special event).
It looks like a good place to hang and at least as importantly, it gives us fun and cool South Bay people another place to go on the Redondo Pier. With this, the Slip Bar, Kincaid’s with its Happy Hours and, of course, Old Tony’s (and yes, sometimes Najas), there’s some budding nightlife potential here.
The Boogie is also looking to book bands, so if you’re in a band and looking for gigs, contact them!
MANHATTAN BEACH HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE NEXT WED!

Put this in our smart phone calendars now, set the alarm and get out to this event next week! It’s the Holiday Open House in downtown MB, Wednesday Nov. 18. Do you wonder which will be the most fun shops this year!? Part of the fun is finding them – then hanging out in them, of course.
