Popular Palos Verdes Event Is One Of The South Bay’s Top Activities
Now in its ninth year – hard to believe, isn’t it!? – the Trump National Wine & Beer Festival is one of the most sought-after tickets in the South Bay.
The 2017 event is Sunday, Aug. 20, and tickets go on sale Tuesday, June 20, at 11 a.m. A new twist is that this year, tickets are only available through EventBrite; there will be NO tickets available at the club.
Because of such high demand, people are limited to a total of four tickets. The price is $85 and 250 for two VIP (there are no single VIP tickets for sale). The VIP tickets includes early entry (noon instead of 1 p.m.), a private tasting era with the highest-quality wines and champagne at the festival, and the club’s huge champagne brunch (9:30-12:30).
UPDATE: PubClub has set up a ticket exchange website so if you need tickets or have tickets to sale, click the above link!
The festival involves some 100 wines from California, plus dozens of craft and speciality beers. There are also food trucks (extra cost; this is not a food & wine festival), a band and raffle prizes, including golf lessons and a round of golf at the Pete Dye-designed course.
Because of the quality of the wines and beers, and also the people, this is one of the top social events of the year in the South Bay. Especially for singles.
There are approximately 1,000 people at the event, a good mix of women to men, all dressed as if they just came from a magazine cover shoot. It’s stylish and classy, yet at the same time casual and fun.
The event is held on the gorgeous grounds of Trump National Golf Club in Palos Verdes. Views stretch out to Catalina Island and over the cliffs down to the South Bay Beach Cities.
The minute you leave you want to come again the next year. But of course you’ don’t really want to leave that year’s event.
