The two-day California Wine Festival returns to Carlsbad this June. Here are all the details, including the events, wineries, food entertainment and ticket prices.

• Sunset Rare & Reserve Tasting – Friday, June 20, 2025 | 6:30 – 9 p.m.
This is an intimate eveningfor discerning wine enthusiasts. It starts with a champagne reception followed by a curated tasting of rare and limited-production wines from renowned California wine regions, paired with gourmet bites from top North San Diego County restaurants. The elegant setting is under the stars and includes live music and a silent auction benefiting local charities.

• Beachside Wine Festival – Saturday, June 21, 2025 | 1 – 4 p.m. (VIP Entry at 12 p.m.)
The big event is Saturday’s Beachside Wine Festival on the Heron Lawn of Park Hyatt Aviara. It features premium wines, craft beers, food and live music. VIP guests not only get the earlier entry but have their own section with excellent food choices. This is one wine festival where, if elevated food is a part of your experience, it’s worth the splurge.
