The dates are Nov. 9-13, and features the action-packed and spectacular Grand Tasting at Embarcadero Park North on the edge of San Diego Bay, celebrated chefs in the city and Baja, international and domestic wineries, breweries, and spirits, brand experiences and live entertainment.
The festival will return to pre-pandemic production including a grand lineup at the action-packed Grand Tasting on Saturday, Nov. 12. The festival will have more than 11,000 attendees and highlights over 60 nationally recognized and locally celebrated chefs (seen on Master Chef, Food Network, etc.), legendary winemakers, guest mixologists, award-winning authors, distillers, sommeliers, brewmasters, artisans and taste makers and more.
Additionally, the festival includes more than 300 domestic and international wine, beer, and spirit brands to join the festival, providing more than 800 tasting opportunities. New events have been added for 2022, including various wine dinners, interactive expeditions and a new Latin American event to close out the festival, an event called Grand Fiesta.
The Grand Tasting is a must-do event and it sells out quickly so getting tickets early is a must. Friday night’s Grand Decant is a second event that is well worth attending, as well. The new Grand Fiesta on Sunday completes a perfect Wine + Food Festival trifecta. There are also several intimate lunch and dinner pairings with chefs and many other activities that make this a complete event.
Tickets for the 18th annual event are on sale now at the San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival website.
