One of the top social cocktail events of the year is back for 2025, the San Diego Spirits Festival.
This spectacular event, which features spirits distributors from several high-end brands, is set for Saturday & Sunday, Sept. 27-28. The location is again the Museum of Contemporary Art in La Jolla which has patios overlooking the bluffs and Pacific Oean.
“The spirits are flowing, the crowd is buzzing, the food excites, and the entertainment never misses a beat. Every year, the San Diego Spirits Festival evolves—more refined, more vibrant, and more unforgettable. If you thought last year was spectacular, just wait for what’s coming,” says Liz Edwards, Founder and Executive Director.
The times are 2-6 p.m., on Saturday and 1-5 on Sunday. General admission tickets start at $85 (Saturday) and $75 (Sunday) and include unlimited cocktails. All attendees must be 21 years of age or older. For a limited time use the code EARLYBIRD for $20 off the regular price. Tickets are available for purchase on Eventbrite here.

In addition to the spirits, the spirits are high throughout the multiple rooms and balconies on various levels. There is live music and roaming artistic performances that add to the classy ambiance of the festival. Many of the spirts involve top-shelf tequilas and bourbons, but there are also rums and sparkling wines.
There are limitless tastes of the spirits either alone or in creative cocktails. A few restaurants put out samples of food but this is mainly a sipping social event.
