For those who survive St. Patrick’s Day and are looking for more fun, there’s a “Boots On The Beach” party taking place the next day in Imperial Beach.
It’s on March 18 at SEA180° Coastal Tavern and it will have cocktails, appetizers, country music and line dancing, starting at 6 p.m. It is important to note that the 18th is on a Saturday in 2023.
country hits played by DJ Keahi will be playing country music and Shannon Wilson will be demonstrating the finer points of line dancing.
SEA180° Executive Chef Paulo Mendoza has rustled up a lineup of dishes including tri tip sliders, candied “steakon” sticks, baked beans, cowboy caviar salad, jalapeño macaroni and cheese, among other selections.Samplings from Screwball Whiskey, Templeton Rye and Jefferson’s Bourbon will also be servied.
Tickets, which include two handcrafted cocktails, are $65 and may be purchased in advance on Purplepass. This is a 21-and-over event. It is not to be confused with Boots in the Park, which is April 1 at San Diego’s Waterfront Park.
